Grey Bird Crafts is a husband-and-wife venture, blending craftsmanship and creativity into a single family-run business. Chris, a software engineer by day, hails from a family of builders and hands-on creators. When he’s not working on code, he’s working with his hands, experimenting and figuring out how things are built. Caroline brings an artistic touch, drawing from her background as a costume designer for a local ballet company. Together, they create beautifully crafted wooden pieces for your home. From unique jewelry to charming holiday advent calendars, each item is designed and carefully finished by hand, bringing a bit of their family to yours.

But who is the “Grey Bird” in Grey Bird Crafts? Meet Bowie, their African Grey parrot and a true family member! Bowie gained local fame in 2021 after an accidental adventure away from home, sparking a community-wide effort to bring him back. Since then, Bowie has become a beloved social media icon, and he’s never far from Chris and Caroline, “helping” out with each new creation.
